
I really dug in to try to finish the skirt last night, but finishing the interior seams took longer than I expected, so that’s what I did most of the night – they’re still not done, still finishing up a few places.
I did cut the pieces for my underskirt, and with what was left over, played with the cape/train piece:

Another shot with the cape/train thing. The gold fabric – looks like gold-lamé in the film, but I couldn’t find any that didn’t look extremely Halloween-costume cheap. So I went with a taffeta instead.

I’ve GOT to get up underneath that hoopskirt and rebend all the wires. They are so terribly bent out of shape.
